Belstaff began in Stafforshire in 1924 as a producer of performance garment wear - the waxed cotton now used by companies the world over was first put into production by Belstaff, and from these beginnings Belstaff have grown to firmly establish themselves as the finest manufacturers of high quality performance wear. During the 1930s this developed into producing avaition and bikewear -with items such the famous bestseller 'Black Prince Motorcycle Jacket'. Belstaff quickly expanded into making boots, gloves, hats and bags also, and their styles have now become modern classics.
